The successful candidate will be organized, personable and flexible, with experience in or knowledge of a range of nonprofit roles.
The Executive Director will lead the Pineland Suzuki School's operations, focusing on administration, fundraising, strategic planning, board engagement, and supporting our music educators.
Administration: Develop or streamline operations and administration. The Executive Director will be supported by a contract bookkeeper.
Fundraising: Drive philanthropic support by cultivating new funding sources, grant writing, and stewarding existing individual, corporate, government, and foundation donors.
Strategic Planning: Lead the development and implementation of the next 3-5 year strategic plan in collaboration with the Board of Directors and Artistic Directors.
Board and Volunteer Engagement: Inspire, leverage, and provide administrative support to the Board of Directors (comprising seven volunteer members and two co-founders) and other volunteers.
Educator Support: Collaborate with the Artistic Directors and educators to ensure school operations align with the school's mission and program work.
Other duties as assigned and mutually agreed upon.
