The museum was established in 2009 to preserve the rich heritage of NAS Brunswick (NASB) by honoring the tens of thousands of men and women who served here, to educate the public about the history of maritime patrol aviation and NASB, and to maintain a memorial for those NASB based airmen who gave their lives in service to their country. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dependent primarily on donations and grants. We are an all-volunteer operation that has acquired the former base chapel which we are in the process of renovating to house our exhibits and programming. Current exhibits include a cockpit trainer, engine and propeller, information and artifacts pertaining to squadrons flying from Brunswick, their operations and missions, an exhibit about SERE School, and a state-of-the-art flight simulator. We maintain a Memorial Garden to remember NASB flight crews who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
The applicant must be experienced in all aspects of fundraising, be organized with great communication skills and attention to detail.
Monthly stipend of $500
