The Maine Philanthropy Center is seeking proposals for workshops for its 2025 Maine Philanthropy Center Conference, which will take place on May 20, 2025 in Augusta, Maine.
The Maine Philanthropy Center's popular biennial conference provides an important and rare opportunity for hundreds of funders, nonprofits, and consultants working across Maine to come together to learn, connect, and collaborate. Through workshops, panel discussions, and networking, attendees share successes, learn about new trends and tools, and build connections that can enrich their work.
This year's theme is Pathways to Action: Equitable Solutions for a Vibrant Maine. The theme was decided on by this year's planning committee to encourage all of us to find our way to take action to make our home state of Maine more equitable and vibrant.

We invite you to help us build a conference that encompasses this theme. Proposals are welcome from organizations, collaborations, and individuals working across the philanthropic and nonprofit sector. We welcome proposals for traditional workshops, panels, presentation of case studies and collaborations, and guided conversations.
We encourage submissions that center equity and stories of collaboration to create a more vibrant and equitable Maine. Regardless of the format, we aim for all workshops to uplift actions and resources for attendees post-conference.
This is a competitive process, and we will select workshops to create a balanced program while prioritizing BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) led* organizations and individuals.
Important Dates:
