JKC has raised over $1.3 million in grants for clients during the pandemic with another $1.5 million pending. Current grants are expanding a public recreation area and trails development, increasing Maine organic farmers' organic, value-added production, underwriting salary for a program director, and more. Proposals to a range of grant programs at USDA are a specialty, from SBIR to VAPG. Its principal brings a master's degree in journalism and over a decade of marketing experience for nonprofits to her 14 years of grant consulting for nonprofits, educational institutions, municipalities, and small businesses. A career highlight was to help the National Governing Board for rowing, USRowing, establish an adaptive rowing program for veterans with disabilities in 2014-15. Over $2 million in grants were successfully raised from the VA and private foundations to start and sustain this life-changing program over six years.
