Mission
HBCC Mission Statement: To promote and provide a neighborhood non profit community center for the social and general welfare of the Hills Beach Community. The center will provide a place for Community gatherings and will serve as a resource for the local Hills Beach residents and visitors.
The Hills Beach Community Center will be renovated and utilized as it once was in 1981 as a Community gathering place for meetings, socials and public events primarily during the spring, summer and fall.
Specifics: Annual meeting, social gatherings, kids days, bridge, cribbage, book clubs, children's weekly readings, beach clean-up, bird watching, bocce ball league and tournament, coastal mixer, Wood Island Tour, HB fire station tours, Christmas Caroling, movie nights, 60's and 70's dance party, yard sale, plant swaps, paint night, local art exhibits and community suppers.
The second floor will be renovated to code.
