More than $86 billion available to charitable nonprofits and others are sitting in the coffers of state and local governments that must be spent or committed by the end of this year or the money is lost. This NPT webinar is dedicated to ensuring nonprofits know about the availability of these dollars and how to access them before it’s too late.

The American Rescue Plan Act allocated $350 billion in funds to state, local, Tribal, and territorial governments to provide assistance – at each government’s discretion – to charitable nonprofits, businesses, households, and communities. Data show that charitable organizations have received less than 5% of the money that has been spent so far, even though they are eligible for funding through direct relief programs and contractors providing services. Millions of dollars in thousands of local governments remain ready to be invested in the missions of charitable nonprofits, if organizations take action.

Speakers include:
David L. Thompson, acting CEO and Vice President of Public Policy
Jessica Mendieta, Policy Associate, National Council of NonProfits to the speakers
Paul Clolery, editorial director of The NonProfit Times
