Building Native-led Nonprofit Capacity

Please join your funder colleagues for regular conversations and information sharing on partnering and supporting Maine's Tribal communities. This network group from Maine Philanthropy Center will connect colleagues interested in or currently investing in Indigenous communities and organizations. It will be an opportunity to share learning, advance collaboration, and build relationships.

At this meeting, we will be joined by Hopa Mountain to learn more about their Strengthening the Circle model and how they are convening funders to deepen understanding, build relationships, and better partner with Native-led nonprofits. 

We will also make time to share updates and explore the themes of the most recent Stanford Social Innovation Review article "A Trust-based Model for Indigenous Grantmaking"
