As we reflect on a year marked by both challenge and collective resilience, it feels especially meaningful to gather in community. Moments of connection remind us why our shared work matters and how much stronger we are together.

Join Maine Philanthropy Center at our home at the Equality Community Center (ECC) for an end-of-year gathering grounded in connection and shared purpose. We encourage MPC members and other community members to drop by to honor the year and connect with one another in person. While we come together and enjoy being in community, you can learn about the work of other organizations at the ECC and build and deepen your relationships with fellow attendees.

Join us for any length of time and come and go as you please! Light refreshments will be served. 

MPC works to harness the power of collective action by encouraging attendees to bring donated items to this event, if able. We will give these items to the Equality Community Center (ECC). This list is made up of some of their most frequently requested items during the cold months. These donated items will help keep at-risk community members warm, fed, and taken care of.

• Individually wrapped snacks (examples: crackers, nuts, protein bars, oatmeal packets, noodle cups)
• Hot chocolate packets
• Socks
• Winter hats
• Gloves
• Travel-sized toothpaste & toothbrushes
• Deodorant
