Racial Definitions & Cultural Responsiveness Training:

• We review the Zones of Comfort, Risk, and Danger to engage in a dialogue about participants and the discomfort some may feel when discussing race.
• We review social and racial definitions such as microaggressions, bias, stereotypes, and systemic racism so everyone is aware of what we mean when we use these terms.
• We show a short clip about discussing race and then divide the group into small groups to discuss their reactions.
• We look at the Continuum of cultural responsiveness, discuss cultural humility and explain why cultural awareness is instantaneous for people and organizations.

All training sessions are held virtually on Zoom. Once you register for each training, you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link. Pre-registration is required.
