Fiscal Sponsorship
At the Maine Philanthropy Center, we recognize that fiscal sponsorships could play an even bigger role in Maine’s philanthropic ecosystem by enabling emerging initiatives and grassroots organizations to launch impactful projects without the burden of forming a standalone nonprofit. By providing critical administrative infrastructure and compliance support, fiscal sponsors allow changemakers to focus on mission-driven work. In a state where many communities are working with limited resources, fiscal sponsorships are an essential tool for building capacity and advancing sustainable, community-led solutions.
