Grant Research Appointments
Maine Philanthropy Center offers grant research appointments at the University of Southern Maine Glickman Family Library in Portland. Appointments are free and open to the public.
Use the booking page below to reserve time to use the Directory of Maine Grantmakers and Candid's Foundation Directory Online.
An MPC staff person will meet you at the library and get you logged into the databases on a university computer, along with a brief (15 minutes) review of how to use both databases. You are then free to conduct your research as long as you need during library hours.
Parking: You can park in the Abromson Parking Garage at 88 Bedford Street or via nearby street parking. MPC will reimburse parking garage fees for 2 hours per appointment. Reimbursements will be sent after filling out an online form and sending your receipt to jeannette@mainephilanthropy.org.
We ask that all attendees have taken a Grant Research Tutorial with MPC. You can find upcoming tutorials here. If you are not able to attend a tutorial before your appointment, please reach out to us to receive a recording link.
