Mission: The MWL Education Fund helps Mainers develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to engage in feminist, anti-oppression-based public policy advocacy and civic life.
Recent Accomplishment: We've been hard at work this fall helping to Get Out The Vote in Maine this election cycle! One major highlight has been the efforts of our incredible volunteers who wrote 3,000 personalized "Mainer-to-Mainer" postcards urging Mainers to vote. Not only do we know that these postcards will help boost voter turnout, it's been energizing and inspiring to see groups of passionate friends and community members across the state gathering to build meaningful connections with each other and the Mainers they're writing to. Post-election, we look forward to continuing to engage, educate and empower our community about legislative advocacy!
