As part of our efforts to make meaningful connections with existing organizations, the Permanent Commission on the Status of Racial, Indigenous, and Tribal Populations has launched mini-awards to lift up community-led work.

The Maine Community Foundation’s (MaineCF) Rines Thompson Fund awarded $148,000 to 26 Greater Portland nonprofits in 2023.

Funding will support land conservation, outdoor education and access.
