As we continue to highlight the incredible work of our members, this month we are highlighting the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center. Organization: Adaptive Outdoor Education Center

Mission: To enhance the quality of life for all people with disabilities through adaptive recreation and education programs.

Highlights: The AOEC offers year-round recreation and education programming for people of all abilities at our two Centers in Maine. Our Carrabassett Valley location is a fully accessible, overnight lodge with the ability to sleep up to 25 people. Our Brunswick location is a day-program facility located on 15 acres and includes accessible hiking trails, the Horizons Event Center, an outdoor amphitheater, Maine Native gardens, and more!
